Afghan Action is a UK charity which supports traditional rug weaving by training and educating young weavers..The Nomads Tent has worked with Afghan Action for 2 years. During this time we have bought and sold many fine hand knotted rugs from their weavers. The use of hand spun wool, natural and vegetable dyes and skilled rug designers has allowed a great style to develop. Our commitment to help this truly deserving cause and our policy of trading fairly ensures the goods are offered at very reasonable prices and that most of the profit goes back to Afghan Action.
